Jennifer Capriati denies a tabloid report that she recently assaulted her ex-boyfriend, and that there is a warrant for her arrest. Capriati alleges that her ex-boyfriend in Florida, Ivan Brannan, has frequently lied about her and is trying to ruin her.
“There is no arrest warrant for Jennifer Capriati,” said a statement released by the former three-time Grand Slam champion’s publicist. "The case between Ms. Capriati and Mr. Ivan Brannan has not yet been assigned in Palm Beach County and has not been reviewed. The current facts being circulated by Mr. Brannan are an over exaggeration and the police report is one-sided in Mr. Brannan’s favor since they failed to get Ms. Capriati’s side of the story. We will make sure that Ms. Capriati’s side of the story is fully conveyed and when the truth comes out she will be vindicated from these charges.”
