Well, well, well, thing suddenly got mighty interesting thanks to Novak Djokovic's win in Cincinnati over Rafael Nadal. Clearly, Federer is not the only player having to look over his shoulder, and the implications for the Olympic Games and the US Open are obvious. Djokovic has been the third wheel in this intense, long-standing relationship with between Nadal and Roger Federer. The question is, will Djokovic be able to bust up the pair?

That's all about I have to say about it for now; it's late and we're leaving here at around 5 AM for our flight west. While I'm away, Ed McGrogan will be overseeing the site, with Kamakshi on hand as well. The Mod Squad will be moderating. You'll have fresh posts daily, and perhaps some TW "classic" posts as well. I'll be be back on or around the 14th, which will give us a few days to discuss the Olympics.

Meanwhile, in the spirit of a PSA, I pass along this heads up from Sienna Farris, on behalf of NBC (the official US broadcaster for the Olympics).

If so, I thought you might want to stay updated on their stats as the players head to Beijing. NBC has created a series of embeddable Olympics widgets that aggregate up-to-the-minute news, photos and video of all the events and athletes.

To view Tennis news specifically, click the "All Sports" tab and scroll down to the appropriate title. All of the widgets can be found here: www.nbcolympics.com/widgets.  Widgets include: Top News, Videos & Photos Slideshows Videos Medal Count (currently a countdown clock but will automatically change once the games begin) News and Results (also currently a countdown clock) Additional Olympics Tennis information can be found by visiting: www.nbcolympics.com/tennis FYI: Be sure to grab the 'TV & Online Listings' widget on the 8th of August so you can tell what Tennis event is airing , and when!

Also, after the games begin NBC is going to be the ONLY place you can find exclusive Olympics video content so be sure to keep that in mind as well.
