Longtime rivals Kim Clijsters and Justine Henin played to a third-set tiebreaker for the second time this year. Once again, Clijsters comes away with the victory, this time a 6-2, 6-7 (3), 7-6 (6) win in the Miami semis. The two Belgians also went the distance in Brisbane, back in January. Clijsters will meet Venus Williams in Saturday’s final.

Clijsters lost leads in both the second and third sets Thursday night, but sealed the victory with two brilliant winners in the deciding tiebreaker.

“Even about the tiebreak and everything, it was very similar scoring,” Clijsters said of her two 2010 meetings with Henin. “So it's crazy to have two matches like this, this early in the season. I don't know what to say. I'm just excited that I came out as the winner. It could have gone either way at the end in both matches.”—M.C.
