BRUSSELS (AP) Kim Clijsters has resumed on-court training but the U.S. and Australian Open champions says she is still very unlikely to take part in the French Open later this month.

Clijsters has been sidelined with shoulder, wrist and ankle injuries since early last month and she said Wednesday's first training session was completed without pain.

On her web site Thursday, she ruled out playing any preparation tournament ahead of the French Open, which opens on May 22.

Clijsters is a two-time runner-up at the French Open.
