France’s Alize Cornet, who reached a career-high ranking of No. 11 in February 2009, wins consecutive WTA matches for only the third time this year with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Arantxa Parra Santonja in Fes' second round. Cornet, now ranked No. 84, defeated Petra Martic in the opening round, and also won the deciding doubles match in last weekend’s Fed Cup tie against Germany, with Julie Coin.—M.C.
