!90574307 Howdy, everyone. The action is starting a little later today - or is it? Right now, Venus and Serena Williams are in a first set tiebreaker in one of the women's doubles semifinals (they' just won the first set as i wrote this), and two American youths, Chase Buchanan (great name for a tennis player, eh?) and Jack Sock (a name that already has headline writers drooling and pulling for him to win Wimbledon) are in action in the third-round of the junior boy's championship.

Juan Martin del Potro and Marin Cilic are third match on Arthur Ashe; they may not even get on until, oh, 3 or 4 pm (Rafael Nadal and Fernando Gonzalez play the final night match of the tournament - if the high winds and anticipated rain don't shut us down). I'm going ot watch some juniors as soon as I finish this post - Carly Gullickson and Travis Parrott ar ini the mixed doubles final - a couple of kids going up against hard-bitten veterans Cara Black and Leander Paes. Gullickson and Parrott took out the top seeds, Liezel Huber and Mahesh Bhupathi. Why, I think the mixed match will be my red-meat post of the day. . . Enoy!
