Del Potro back in Argentina's Davis Cup team

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (AP) Juan Martin del Potro has been selected for Argentina's Davis Cup team after a two-year absence.

Captain Modesto Vazquez Del Potro announced the Davis Cup team Wednesday. Del Potro will be joined by Juan Ignacio Chela, David Nalbandian and Juan Monaco.

The team will play Kazakhstan in the quarterfinals next month on clay in Buenos Aires.

Del Potro last played Davis Cup in 2009 as Argentina lost 3-2 to the Czech Republic in the quarterfinals. He has spent much of the past year nursing a wrist injury.
