No word on whether Leonard DiCaprio chokes up emotionally in his new movie, The Wolf of Wall Street, but in one prison-yard scene in which he plays tennis, he sure chokes up on the racquet when hitting his forehand, serve, basically any and all shots. Who advises how to hold a racquet in major movies—Wimbledon, Bridesmaids, and so on?

SERENA SAYS The WTA's website is featuring 10 parting shots ("quotable quotes") from some of its top stars as the calendar year winds down, and Serena Williams is front and center right now. See her interesting thought on 2012 battles with Victoria Azarenka, and enjoy the decidedly Serena-esque gem here: "I was playing Family Feud today on my phone, and I was really competitive with someone in the digital world. I don't even know who they were and I got angry."

ANOTHER TOP 10 The ATP World Tour Finals in London finished well, with No. 1 Novak Djokovic combatting No. 2 Roger Federer. Here are the arguable top 10 shots from that event, wonderfully including doubles play in the mix:

The Spin particularly enjoys the No. 7 shot—only Fed—but the commentator's quote after the No. 5 point is the best thing about this clip: "The last time we saw one of those, God was a boy."

Still, the responses from both players after the No. 1 point is over are quite telling: One fist-pumps and reacts much more intensely than usual (a testament to his opponent?) while the other offers up a desultory, De Niro–esque frowning face.
