PARIS(AP) Third-seeded Novak Djokovic of Serbia has advanced to the fourth round of the French Open by beating Victor Hanescu of Romania 6-3, 3-6, 6-3, 6-2.
Djokovic broke the 6-foot-6 Hanescu seven times Saturday in a match that produced a flurry of winners.
Djokovic, who lost in the third round last year, has reached the semifinals twice at the French Open, in 2007 and 2008.
He will face either former winner Juan Carlos Ferrero of Spain or American Robby Ginepri.
