Novak Djokovic has now been ranked No. 1 for 142 weeks throughout his career, moving in front of Rafael Nadal into sixth place amongst the all-time leaders.

The Serbian has been on a winning tear since the indoor season, picking up titles at the Paris Masters, the ATP World Tour Finals, the Australian Open, Indian Wells and Miami.

"I’m at the peak of my abilities right now," he said in Monte Carlo. "I’m enjoying my time on the court, playing some of my best tennis."

With a 4,310 point lead on world No. 2 Roger Federer, Djokovic's total weeks at No. 1 are likely to increase substantially during the season, putting him within reach of the fifth position.
