Dokic beats Krajicek to move into Malaysian finals

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) Jelena Dokic beat Michaella Krajicek of the Netherlands 6-2, 6-3 Saturday to advance to the Malaysian Open finals.

Dokic needed just over an hour to defeat Krajicek. The Croatian-born Dokic drifted away from the WTA tour from 2004 to 2008. She's ranked 91st after a high of No. 4, and reached her first semifinal in seven years.

Fourth-seeded Jarmila Groth of Australia plays fifth-seeded Lucie Safarova of the Czech Republic in the other semifinal later Saturday.
