WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (AP)—Three cities in Texas and two in California are among 11 sites that have signaled an intent to bid for the right to host the Fed Cup final between the U.S. and Italy.

Joining Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio, Pacific Palisades and San Diego in indicating they would like to stage the Nov. 6-7 matches are Cleveland; the island of Hawaii; Jacksonville, Fla.; Portland, Ore.; St. Louis; and Surprise, Ariz., the U.S. Tennis Association said Monday.

Final bids are due to the USTA on June 4, and the winning venue is to be announced the week of June 14.

It is a rematch of last year's final, won by Italy, and the first Fed Cup final in the United States since 2000, the last time the Americans won the trophy.
