Among all social media channels, Instagram is where pro tennis players and operatives arguably remain most unguarded. Whether it's Victoria Azarenka or Serena Williams (who doesn't post with great frequency, interestingly) or another among the cadre of ATP and WTA stars with accounts, one can usually rely on this bevy of updates for photos chock-full of fun, sun, and style.
And celebrity run-ins. This week, Feliciano Lopez crossed paths with one Dennis Rodman, the former NBA king of defense now parlaying his success into DJ-ing and who knows what else. Rodman was the portrait of his typical excess, boasting a bottle, a cigar, and a lot of sartorial flair. (At top right, courtesy of Instagram.)
Elsewhere, namely in Great Britain, Laura Robson received an early Christmas gift by way of her coach Zeljko Krajan and his daughter. This came on the heels of the fact that she has been a self-described "Hello Kitty addict" for a good while.
Moving to California, Mardy Fish looked the picture of health as Justin Gimelstob posted up against him on the basketball court at UCLA. It's jolly good to see Fish smiling in light of his impending absence from the Australian Open in January. Fish also tried his hands at a jump shot, and the two had their dads—Barry Gimelstob and Tom Fish, respectively—on hand for some father-son bonding.
There are so many of them out there—Bob Bryan, Mike Bryan, Janko Tipsarevic (see here), Robert Lindstedt, those aforementioned, and more. Who is your favorite player to follow on Instagram?
