The WTA Tour's elite showed up at the Roof Gardens in Kensington, London, Thursday evening wearing next to anything but white. Eugenie Bouchard was the lone exception, and she and Urszula Radwanska led the charge in terms of that ever-coveted "wow" factor. The annual shebang features a who's who of talent, both veterans and newcomers, all dressed to the nines. Here's a roundup of the styles on display away from those hallowed grass courts at SW19:

Eugenie Bouchard sported a backless white frock from Ralph Lauren that proved almost as revealing as her ongoing slump. Good news, though: She seems happy despite pulling out of the Aegon Championships due to an abdominal ailment.

Urszula Radwanska wore a black dress with multiple cutouts that seemed to stay together by way of an act of God.

Maria Sharapova wore (what else?) a Valentino dress. Her look arrived embellished and classy, featuring, as they say, legs for days.

Best Hair: Simona Halep, who appeared a moving portrait of elegance in a little black dress paired with fantastic, wavy follicles.

Five-time Wimbledon singles champ Serena Williams, ever a pillar of understatement, donned a skater-styled dress that let her smile take center stage.

Reigning Wimbledon winner Petra Kvitova looked like one who's done this before (and she has), regal in a blue, bare-shouldered number that complemented her wonderfully.

It could be that famously mini-dress–loving Daniela Hantuchova has never worn so much fabric in her purple-carpet life.

Best Comeback: Laura Robson, lady in red. Crimson is a fetching color for the British talent, still just 21 years young.

Heather Watson's vivacious personality was well matched with her Mettler dress designed by Brett Mettler. In pastel tones, she almost seemed a Sugarpova confection brought to life, in a decidedly good way.

Best Pose: Jelena Jankovic. Because who else?

Best Arm Candy: Ana Ivanovic, who showed up with her footballing boyfriend (fiance?) Bastian Schweinsteiger.

Best Use of Leg (the Angelina Jolie Spirit Award): also Ivanovic, who extended her gam to great effect from under her striking blue gown.

Best Use of Leather: Carla Suarez Navarro, who rocked a flirty and fun look even in all-black. Her trademark bob was in rare form.
