Roger Federer says that the United States' shutout of Switzerland in Davis Cup does "nothing" to move him in either direction about playing the competition in the future. Switzerland has never won the Davis Cup, and Federer has only played one World Group main-draw tie (against the United States this weekend) in the past seven years. He called the defeat "another bad weekend for us."

"I just enjoy being with boys I hope do it again down the road," he told DavisCup.com. "I’m going tie by tie and see how it goes from here. It’s not a step back or step forward. I just love being with Stan [Wawrinka] and [captain Severin Luthi]."
