Roger Federer defines success for himself as winning, rather than just playing his best, as many players say. "I guess winning a bit," he told reporters. "It's part of it. I am an athlete; I'm a tennis player. I judge success on the tennis court if I'm winning or losing. It's nice to be reminded how good you are every day, because the people make you feel it and the results show it, too. So you try to work hard so you have as much success as possible, because it is just a little bit more fun winning than losing, actually, for those who don't know."
