WIMBLEDON, England (AP)—Roger Federer and Stanislas Wawrinka advanced to the second round of the Olympics on Monday with a 6-7 (5), 6-4, 6-4 win over Kei Nishikori and Go Soeda of Japan.

The Swiss pair won a gold medal in doubles in Beijing in 2008, and are seeded sixth. They could face the top-seeded Bryan brothers in the quarterfinals.
