Mike Bryan is out of Saturday's doubles for the U.S. against Serbia with food poisoning. Davis Cup rookie John Isner is taking his place alongside Bob Bryan.

The untested duo will take on Nenad Zimonjic and Janko Tipsarevic, needing to win to keep the tie alive. Serbia is up 2-0 after winning both of Friday's singles contests.

The Bryans were considered the strongest link in this U.S. Davis Cup team, having gone 16-2 in their past Davis Cup matches.

“Mike got room service, chicken curry, and at 3 A.M. he started to get the shakes and started to vomit, we put him on an IV, he came out to the stadium and tried to practice but shook his head as he knew he couldn’t finish a match,” Bob said.
