Fourhand, Video Edition: Harrison seethes, Sharapova melts—plus, bounceketball?

Here, another video edition of the Fourhand series. Let's get to it, shall we?

ERROR FROM THE CHAIR We are all too human. That said, chair umpire Damien Steiner biffed a call in the Novak Djokovic–Andy Murray quarterfinal match at the Sony Open on Wednesday, with Djokovic reaching over the net to hit an angled tap volley. Murray argued Steiner's call that the shot was allowed within the rules, which TV and Jumbotron replays showed was not.

Murray maintained to Steiner that Djokovic admitted to him that he had reached over, but the call had been made. Djokovic himself later told Brad Gilbert that he didn't know the rule on such a shot, distancing himself from what USTA 4.0-level league players stateside know to be the truth. Murray was subsequently broken for 5-6, and found himself on the short end at 7-5, 6-3 when it was over.

MARIA MELTS? The usual iciness exhibited by Maria Sharapova, forever business-like and focused, perhaps melted a bit in the Miami heat after she defeated Lucie Safarova, 6-4, 6-7, 6-2. The Russian and the Czech embraced at net briefly in the wake of the former's win. Would Maria have responded to a loss that way? Not likely. Even so, let's relish this sign of chumminess, which, needless to say, isn't always shown when WTA affairs end.

HARRIED Up 5-4 on Benjamin Becker on Key Biscayne, Ryan Harrison beckoned his father to leave the court after, presumably, the elder Harrison said something in his direction to which he objected. Here's the exchange, largely one-sided by this clip's telling of it. (One might hope this is the sole way in which Harrison starts mimicking Bernard Tomic's career arc and events.)

Harrison would lose the match, 7-5, 3-6, 7-6.
