With his 6-4, 6-4 victory over British lefty Cam Norrie at Indian Wells today, not only did Frances Tiafoe reach the first Masters 1000 semifinal of his career, he also kept an incredible streak going: he’s now won his last 14 tour-level matches in a row against lefties (and his last 15 in a row if you include a qualifying win from 2021).

Since falling to another British lefty, Liam Broady, in the first round of Eastbourne in June 2021, Tiafoe hasn’t lost to a match to a southpaw—he’s barely losing sets, either, winning 32 of 33 sets at tour-level since then (and 34 of 36 sets if you include the qualifying match).
