In most cases, there are more cons than pros when it comes to working with your significant other. In Monfils and Svitolina’s case, it’s a pro with a capital “P”. These two have enjoyed practicing together since they hooked up in early 2019.

Case in point: the love birds enjoyed a training session during the 2019 Wimbledon Championships.

“This ‘love look’, when we are thinking about the same restaurant dinner,” the Instagram post caption read.

One commentator jokingly wrote: “She has a match tomorrow.. leave her pillow alone.”

Svitolina had fended off an inspired Maria Sakkari in the third round the day before. Despite retiring in the fifth set of his opener against Ugo Humbert due to an ankle injury, Monfils stuck around to keep the Ukrainian company, helping her reach her first career Grand Slam semifinal. Svitolina would lose to eventual champion Simona Halep.

This past Sunday, the couple—who had recently broken up—announced their engagement.
