What's a little friendly fire between rivals?

Daria Gavrilova can certainly hope that Daria Kasatkina, friend and fellow Dasha, wouldn't take her latest Tik Tok too personally as she recovered from an Achilles tendon surgery.

The Aussie opted to repair the chronic injury that has essentially derailed her career following a Top 20 career-high ranking earned in 2017. Following a second round Australian Open defeat to world No. 1 Ashleigh Barty, Gavrilova underwent the procedure and is slowly making her way back onto the practice court—with the help of a little target practice.

Luckily for Gavrilova, Kasatkina took the challenge in stride, tweeting about the video shortly after it went up on social media.

The two first met at the 2015 US Open when Kasatkina replaced Maria Sharapova as Gavrilova's first round opponent, pulling out the win as a lucky loser en route to the third round. Fast friends from there, Gavrilova and Kasatkina have been frequent doubles partners over the years, reaching two WTA finals in 2016 and 2017.
