Griz

Howdy. Sorry to be so late today, but we had a major travel glitch at 5 AM this morning, delaying our one-week family vacation to the Discovery Islands, north of Vancouver Island, off the coast of British Columbia. If you have any interest in the natural world and particularly fish (and fishing) you ought to know about one of my favorite writers Roderick Haig-Brown, who lived most of his entire life on Vancouver Island (images of Haig-Brown here).

I know, I know, this is supposed to be about tennis and now it is because I'm turning it over to you. I'm expecting my colleagues to refresh this page for me, to give you an new thread each day I'm gone. But as you may know, Easy Ed McGrogan will have his hands full, covering the Montreal Masters. Have a great week everyone, I'll pop back in early next week before Part II of our family vacation, an Adirondack Mountains (Indian Lake) camping trip. Enjoy the tennis, and 'dios for now.
