Andy Roddick, who won in Atlanta last week and also won a title in Eastbourne the week before Wimbledon, says he’s pleased that the London Olympics will be played on grass. Roddick fell to David Ferrer in the third round of Wimbledon.
"I certainly wasn't disappointed when London won the Games and it looked like it would be played at Wimbledon on grass," Roddick said at a news conference. "Obviously there are another couple of clay-court venues in the mix for tennis which I probably wouldn't have liked as much. I think our team generally likes playing on the grass, so it fits well.”
