New Tennis Australia president Steve Healy tells The Age that while its unlikely that his country will dominate the tours like it did in 1960s and 1970s, it can still be a force.

Australia does have a Top 10 WTA player in No. 6 Samantha Stosur, but its top male, former No. 1 Lleyton Hewitt, is aging and has fallen to No. 54.

"I think you've got to be realistic. We're not going to have half a dozen players in the top 10 again,” he said. "I don't think anybody's going to dominate like that. But I think it is realistic to have a top 10, a top 20 and half a dozen players in the top 100."—Matthew Cronin
