Justine Henin has reached the third final of her comeback, defeating Shahar Peer 6-3, 6-2 in Stuttgart.

Henin will face Samantha Stosur as she tries to win her first title since ending her retirement to return to the tour at the beginning of this year. The Belgian lost to compatriot Kim Clijsters in the final of Brisbane and to Serena Williams in the Australian Open final.

"My quarterfinal match was long and intense," said Henin, who went three sets against Jelen Jankovic in the previous round. "I was a little tired today especially as I didn’t sleep that well. But physically I was fine. Now however I can rest a little and that’s good because tomorrow will be a big day for me

Stosur defeated qualifier Anna Lapuschenkova to reach the final, extending her run on clay to 11 matches. But Henin, a multiple French Open champion, promises to be the toughest opposition the Australian has faced during her unbeaten stretch.

"She's been very dominant on clay these past five, six years before she stopped," said Stosur. "So it'll definitely be a tough match but I'm looking forward to it."
