Justine Henin will be sidelined for two months with an elbow injury she suffered during her fourth round match against Kim Clijsters at Wimbledon, taking her out of the U.S. Open.

"I took several medical examinations that have revealed a partial ligament fracture of the right elbow," she wrote on her website. "This injury will keep me away from the courts for an approximate period of two months, with the consequence a withdrawal from the U.S. circuit, incuding the U.S. Open."
