The WTA rankings may have Iga Swiatek as No. 2 in the world, but she has a firm grip on a top spot among Swifties according to the pop star herself.

After ranking the 2022 album "Midnights" as her favorite during the Cincinnati Open, Swiatek's power rankings of Swift's discography quickly shifted with the pop star's latest album release this month. The six-time Grand Slam champion made it no secret earlier this year that she was eagerly anticipating what her favorite singer had up her sleeve for The Life of a Showgirl. At the US Open, she confessed that she hoped to buy a vinyl record of the album in a physical shop after it released.

Shortly after the album's Oct. 3 drop, Swiatek had already given TLOAS a full play-through, and called it "perfectly made" in spite of mixed reviews from music critics and the media.

"I think it's just consistent and really great and really exciting," she said.

But now, she's been left speechless by a personal gift from "a showgirl named Taylor."

Swiatek revealed on social media Tuesday that she received a vinyl record of the album, and other gifts, along with a handwritten note from the singer thanking her for the support.

"If you're reading this, you're someone who has shown love, someone I admire, and ultimately someone I'd want to celebrate with as we welcomed 'A Life of a Showgirl' into the world," the note read, on Swift's stationary in the album's featured orange color.

Even after receiving another hand-written note from Swift congratulating her on her successes when she attended the Eras Tour last summer, Swiatek still couldn't quite believe it.

"[A] few years ago, I wouldn't even dream of moments like this," Swiatek wrote when sharing the letter to Instagram.

It seems that showgirls and Slam champions have more in common than meets the eye.
