First a waitress, now a store manager.

Is Iga Swiatek primed to one day make the jump to actress?

“Oscars next year?” she joked Wednesday.

The six-time major winner once again put her acting chops to the test, joining her fellow On sponsored colleagues for a new promotional video. At the brand's Flagship Paris Champs-Élysées store, Joao Fonseca and Flavio Cobolli work the floor, Ben Shelton is behind the register and Swiatek is there to ensure the day-to-day operation runs smoothly.

“This place would fall apart without me,” the Pole insists in the playful ad.

Speaking about the latest collaboration, Swiatek said, “There's a story, and there's some kind of a plot. I think it's super funny, and this one was supposed to be funny.”

The 24-year-old also revealed that, “they cut the scene when I was judging my employees, so that's a shame because I can judge pretty well. Sometimes it's hard to act (as) someone who you are not, but usually they ask you to be someone that you can do.”

Swiatek was certainly herself on the court Wednesday. The four-time Roland Garros champion moved into the third round with a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Sara Bejlek.

“For sure it was a tricky match in terms of the rhythm, because Sara plays differently than most of the players. But I'm happy with the way I adjusted and how I was making decisions, because sometimes, it was not so obvious when to go and attack and stay back,” Swiatek assessed.

The No. 3 seed was projected to next face 29th-seeded Jelena Ostapenko, who has won all six of their prior meetings. But the 2017 title holder was unable to set a clash with Swiatek in Paris for the second consecutive year, as Magda Linette wrapped up a 6-2, 2-6, 6-2 win.

Revenge is still on the table for Swiatek, with Linette taking their second-round showdown at March’s Miami Open.
