Lindsay Davenport retired from tennis nine months ago for a very good reason – she was expecting her first child with her husband of four years, investment banker, Jon Leach.
Tennis analysts continuously referred to Davenport, 31, who was home in California nearing her due date, during the French Open. Martina Navratilova commented, “She’s about to pop!” And she was right.
Davenport and Leach welcomed their first child, a boy, Jagger Jonathan Leach, on Sunday.
“Lindsay and Jagger are both doing great,'' said Davenport's agent, Tony Godsick, who should know a bit more given that he is the husband of Davenport’s good friend and bridesmaid, Mary Joe Fernandez.
