Sinner Cahill Vlog

“Morning guys, what’s up?”

It’s the opening line in the debut of “Jannik Sinner Unfiltered”, a new series that launched Friday on the Italian’s YouTube channel.

Sinner, who joined the creator community following his second Australian Open title in 2025, gave his 184,000 subscribers an inside look at his time in Indian Wells—including on the golf course and behind the wheel—while answering questions submitted by his fans.

And, one from coach Darren Cahill during breakfast that set the tone of the laid-back video.

“I have a good question for you. Do you promise to answer this one honestly?” remarked Cahill.

“OK, I’ll try,” said Sinner.

“How many times have you failed your test to gain your motorbike license?”

“But we have to be specific,” deflected the 24-year-old.

“NO, answer the question!” insisted Cahill as he shook his head.

Turning back to the camera with a smile, Sinner admitted, “three times” before laughter broke out.

"Do you have a pre-match ritual?," one curious mind wondered. Sinner smiled and looked at the camera, before answering, "Usually I always go to the same toilet. But it depends year by year. If the year before I didn’t play well, I change."

Other question highlights included the four-time major winner revealing that he lives out of his suitcase rather than unpacking it immediately, a desire to become fluent in either Spanish or French and “usually” tying his right shoe first.

As for the happiest moment of his career so far, Sinner pointed to a pair of milestones.

“One when I reached No. 1 in 2024, it was during Roland Garros. I really enjoyed that moment,” he said.

“And the other one was when I won Wimbledon. It was not even a dream, because it was unrealistic when I was young to win such a big tournament. Winning the title with my parents there, my brother, great friends. It was for sure the happiest moment I ever had on a tennis court.”

The world No. 2 is coming off completing the Sunshine Double at the BNP Paribas Open and Miami Open without dropping a set in raising his career trophy haul to 26.

Sinner is in prime position to reclaim the No. 1 ranking from Carlos Alcaraz as the season shifts to European clay courts. That scenario is in play at next week's Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters, where Alcaraz is the defending champion and Sinner has zero points to back up.
