OSAKA, Japan(AP) Satoshi Iwabuchi and Takao Suzuki of Japan won their doubles match Saturday to complete a 3-0 sweep of China in Davis Cup play.
Iwabuchi and Suzuki beat China's Zhang Ze and Zeng Shaoxuan 6-2, 6-3, 6-2 as Japan advanced to the third round of the regional playoff.
Japan will next play the winner of Uzbekistan-South Korea for the right to advance to the World Group playoffs.
Kei Nishikori and Go Soeda won their singles matches Friday to give Japan a 2-0 lead.
