Joao Fonseca capped a dream week at the Swiss Indoors Basel on Sunday, defeating Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4, for the biggest title of his career at the ATP 500 event.

In fact, it's the biggest title any Brazilian man has won since 2001, when Gustavo Kuerten won the Masters 1000 event in Cincinnati.

That was just over five years before Fonseca was born.

The 19-year-old is now projected to rise from No. 46 to No. 28 when the new ATP rankings come out on Monday, shattering his previous high of No. 42 for his simultaneous Top 40 and Top 30 debuts.
