John Alexander to run for office in Australia

John Alexander will run as a Liberal Party candidate in the next Australian election after winning an inter-party vote.

Alexander will run for the seat in Bennelong, once held by former Australian Prime Minister John Howard. The tennis commentator and former Top 10 player defeated four other candidates to secure his nomination.
