Li Na leaves her press conference with Chinese reporters in tears after she let go of four match points in her 4-6, 7-6, (6), 6-4 loss to defending champion Kim Clijsters at the Australian Open. "Maybe 6-2 up in the tiebreak I was a little bit shocking," Li told reporters in English.
Roland Garros champion Li admitted to being nervous, but said that is par for the course. On her last match point, Clijsters floated a drop shot close to the service line that Li had a chance to blast crosscourt, but instead she hit right back to the Belgian, who lofted a lob over her head for a winner. "I just tennis athlete," Li said. "If change one person on the court, I don't think she's one nervous. Everyone was still pretty nervous. That's just normal. I'm not special."
