The 2026 BNP Paribas Open is set for a brand new look, with apparel and accessories to match.

The largest combined ATP and WTA 1000 tennis tournament announced Thursday a new partnership with Lululemon, which will become the event’s official apparel and footwear outfitter in a multiyear deal—replacing Fila in both categories.

Next spring in the California desert, Lululemon will outfit more than 2,000 BNP Paribas Open volunteers, tournament officials, and ball crew members in new official tournament apparel and footwear.

Fans will also be able to shop a new line of co-branded Lululemon and BNP Paribas Open merchandise, which will be featured in an expanded retail section at the on-site Tennis Paradise Shop. Visitors will also enjoy a “Lululemon Day” on Sunday, March 8 (with more details to come), as well as a standalone fan activation space in the Retail Courtyard of the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.

“Lululemon is a natural partner for the BNP Paribas Open and truly embodies the spirit of Tennis Paradise,” said Philippe Dore, Chief Marketing Officer at the BNP Paribas Open. “From their high-quality apparel to their focus on performance, Lululemon shares our passion for excellence and delivering memorable experiences. Together, we’re excited to enhance the world-class atmosphere that makes Indian Wells such a special destination for players and fans each March.”

The move continues Lululemon’s expansion into professional sports, and marks its boldest step into tennis yet.

Lululemon, a Canadian company best known for women’s high-end, high-performance yoga apparel, rose to prominence in the early 2000s when its signature leggings helped spark the global ‘athleisure’ trend.

Now a sportswear staple, the brand has steadily expanded into new arenas, recently inking apparel and merchandise deals with the NFL and NHL. In February 2025, Lululemon also announced Formula 1 legend Lewis Hamilton as its biggest brand ambassador.

In tennis, the brand has sponsored former US Open finalist Leylah Fernandez since 2022 and added Frances Tiafoe to its global ambassador roster in January. Lululemon debuted a popular on-site retail space during the 2025 US Open, but its new BNP Paribas Open partnership will be the company’s largest tennis event collaboration to date.

“Community is at the heart of everything we do at lululemon,” said Celeste Burgoyne, President, Americas and Global Guest Innovation. “Tennis may be an individual sport, but it’s deeply rooted in connection—and that’s why it’s been part of our story for years.

“Partnering with the BNP Paribas Open gives us a meaningful way to engage with our athlete ambassadors, fans, and guests who embody the values we hold close: staying grounded under pressure, moving with intention, and building community.”

The BNP Paribas Open remains one of the most popular events on the tennis calendar—both among fans, who flock to the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in droves (more than 500,000 annually), and among players, who consistently vote it the best 1000-level tournament of the season.

The 2026 edition will run from March 1–15. Jack Draper and Mirra Andreeva are the defending champions.
