Meet the Croatian Davis Cup team

The Croatians will face the Argentinians for the Davis Cup trophy



At home in Zagreb on Nov. 25-27, Croatia will face Argentina for its shot at a second Davis Cup title (the last time the Croats won was in 2005). This year, they defeated Belgium, the United States and France to get a shot at the trophy.

Davis Cup record: 28-15

Year highlight: The former US Open champion won his first Masters 1000 title in Cincinnati over Andy Murray.

Ranking: No. 20

Davis Cup record: 13-12

Year highlight: The big-serving Croat won Newport after saving three match points against Gilles Muller.

Age: 20

Ranking: No. 48 (doubles No. 420)

Davis Cup record: 5-6

Year highlight: The youngest member of the 2016 team started the year with his first ATP final in Chennai.

Age: 31

Ranking: No. 116 (doubles No. 13)

Davis Cup record: 5-6

Year highlight: Playing with Marcelo Melo, Dodig won Toronto and Cincinnati (he and Melo have won six career titles together, including Roland Garros in 2015).
