Hi folks, I'm back and ready to watch the men's final, which starts at 1 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on CBS.

It's a hot and muggy South Florida morning, with the air very heavy and humid. Who do the conditions favor? I would have to say Murray, who lives here and has been training intensively over at the University of Miami. Andy even has a specially manufactured fluid replacement drink designed to exactly replace the unique ratio of fluids lost in his sweat.

It's funny, I just watched the film adaptation of Dean Koontz' novel Demon Seed, where the mad computer Proteus IV designed a similar potion so that Julie Christie can properly carry their "child" to term. I hope things turn out better for Murray than it did for the computer offspring in that film.
