Andy Murray is hoping that this is the year he finally wins the Australian Open.

The No. 2-ranked player from Great Britain has reached the final four times, but has never been particularly competitive in the final.

Last year, Murray fell, 7-6, 6-7, 6-3, 6-0, against world No. 1 Novak Djokovic. Two years prior, he lost, 6-7, 7-6, 6-3, 6-2, to Djokovic in the final.

The Serbian crushed Murray in straight sets in the 2011 final, and Roger Federer did the same in 2010 with the title on the line.

“My No. 1 goal is to try and win here,” Murray said. “It'd mean a lot because of how may times I've been close. You just have to keep trying to learn, watch [Djokovic’s] matches, try and see if there's any weaknesses there that you can capitalize on. Maybe [Djokovic] has a drop-off. It's very difficult to maintain that level for such a long period. That's all you can do."

Murray is already in Melbourne, working with coach Amelie Mauresmo. The Frenchwoman had a baby last summer, but returned to work with Murray in December.
