Andy Murray says he is considering some names in his coaching search but is in no hurry to make an appointment.
"A few people have offered to help me, and there are definitely a few guys I would be interested in working with," Murray said to the the Telegraph during an open day organized by sponsor RBS. "I want someone who could help me for five or six years, so I don’t want to rush into a decision that might only work for a few months, and then I could stop learning and the relationship could break down."
Murray is, however, focused on improving his physical strength and fitness following his loss to Stanislas Wawrinka at the U.S. Open.
"Physically, I wasn't great and that's what I was most disappointed with," he said. "I felt tired after a couple of sets and that hasn’t happened to me in a long time on the tour. That’s what I need to improve. There wasn’t an injury. I don’t really know what it was.
"I've been very strong in that area for the last few years and it let me down a little bit, so I need to make sure I work hard, get myself in great shape again and hopefully I'll give myself another chance."
