Andy Murray says coach Amelie Mauresmo will be working with him at Wimbledon. The Frenchwoman is expecting her first child in a couple of months but will join the No. 3 in London.
Murray, who will begin his grass-court season at Queen's Club, told tournament press that he had taken a break following the French Open, where he defeated David Ferrer in the quarterfinals before falling to Novak Djokovic.
"They were three full days off any training or anything. I needed to rest and recover. I was actually sick for about a week, really, so I needed to recover from that too.
"To be honest, I actually felt okay, but the day I played Ferrer I didn't feel great," he said.
Murray will be working with Jonas Bjorkman at Queen's, with the Swede set to step in for Mauresmo during her maternity leave.
"Amelie will be at Wimbledon but we'd never planned on her coming here this year," Murray said."It's good, I like having her around the tournaments. It's been for me a very good start to the year.
"And I think it's good as well that before she is away for a few months from the team that her and Jonas can spend some time together as well."
Murray is a three-time champion at the ATP 500 tournament.
