With his title run in Madrid, Rafael Nadal now has a chance to overtake David Ferrer for the No. 4 ranking and the fourth seed at Roland Garros if he wins this week in Rome. The two are in each other’s quarter at the Italian Masters tournament. Nadal must win Rome in order to do so, regardless of where Ferrer finishes.
