Rafael Nadal has entered this week’s Hurlingham exhibition to get some grass-court play under his belt.

Nadal, who will have played no ATP tournaments on grass before Wimbledon, will use the event as a warm up instead. The world No. 1 had been scheduled for Queen's but withdrew following his victory at the French Open, citing wear and tear.

Nadal is scheduled to play Lucas Pouille and Hyeon Chung at Hurlingham. The Spaniard has also been practicing on grass at home in Mallorca.

Maria Sharapova, who withdrew with injury from Birmingham, will also play the exhibition event. Her opponent has not been announced.

Grigor Dimitrov, Kevin Anderson and Richard Gasquet are among the event's other players.
