"I think I gonna enjoy a little bit," said Nadal, who planned to return home to Mallorca after his loss to Feliciano Lopez in the quarterfinals. "Have some dinner with the friends and maybe play some golf. That's it."
Oh, and "World Cup—always," he added.
Nadal, who had won 24 straight matches before going down to Lopez, said he would have liked a couple more matches on grass but, at the same time, has a lot of tennis under his belt. "I run a lot this month, so it's enough for me I think. I don't need more physio performance," he said. "Sometimes it's worse [to] practice than not practice."
But with another Grand Slam just over a week away, the break will only be a short one. "Next week, in Wimbledon, I gonna have more time to practice and to adjust a little bit more the serve, a little bit more the backhand and the movements on the grass," he said. "So that can be good thing."
