Rafael Nadal is into his first U.S. Open final with a 6-2, 6-3, 6-4 win over Mikhail Youzhny in the semifinals.
"It's another step I think in my career," said Nadal, who has already won each of the other three Grand Slams. "I think I can say I did a very good tournament [but[ anyway, the result of tomorrow of course [will] change a lot."
Youzhny, who had played five sets in his previous match, said, "I cannot say I'm really tired, but... my decision[-making] was not really fast. I mean, I [was] moving well, but my head was one step back of my hand and my legs."w
