Naomi Osaka is getting festive with Meghan Markle this holiday season. The four-time Grand Slam champion made an unexpected cameo this week in the trailer for the Duchess of Sussex's "With Love, Meghan" holiday special, which will air next month on Netflix.

A press release from the streaming giant says that Osaka will be joined not just by Harry, the Duke of Sussex, to bring cheer celebrity chef Tom Colicchio, restaurateur Will Guidara, and the duchess' close friends Kelly Zajfen and Lindsay Roth to “deck the halls, create holiday feasts, craft heartfelt gifts, and share lots of laughs" with the former actress.

While Osaka hails from a different background as an athlete than the other famous faces set to appear, it may not be a surprise to see her ejoying the Duchess' company. In 2020, Osaka appeared on an episode of Harry and Meghan's short-lived "Archwell Audio" podcast, where she reflected on her US Open win that season and finding a greater sense of gratitude through the trials of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have also been mental-health advocates in their public role, as has Osaka. In 2021, Osaka revealed in a moving personal essay for TIME magazine that the Duchess was one of the famous figures who reached out to support her during her highly-publicized mental-health break from the sport.

The "With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration" debuts on Netflix on Dec. 3.
