Andy Roddick has been knocked out 6-4, 7-6(8) by Dudi Sela in the third round of Queen's.
The speedy Sela, who converted his second match point with a diving volley, frequently made a sluggish Roddick pay at net with some effective passing shots and often came out ahead in their volley exchanges. The Israeli won 78% percent of his second serve points, higher than his first serve (76%), while Roddick won only 54% of the points on his second delivery and 71% on his first.

"I played okay, I thought, not my best tennis," said Sela. "I don't think he played his best."

"He had a game plan and executed it well," said Roddick. "There were no sloppy errors. I could have done a few things differently, but I've played worse and won the tournament here before."

If Roddick chooses not to play a tournament or exhibition event over the next week, he will go into Wimbledon with only two matches on grass. He reached the third round of the French Open earlier this month having played no ATP matches on clay, pulling of his only scheduled clay tournament at Madrid with a stomach illness.

"I'm not worried about how to play on a grass court, I just would have liked a few more matches," he sid. "But I still feel very comfortable, and I'm not going to go into panic mode."
