Paul Annacone knows a thing about working with Swiss Grand Slam champions—the Tennis Channel commentator is a former coach of Roger Federer, not to mention another Wimbledon icon, Pete Sampras.

This summer, Annacone will be taking his immense experience and talents to the coaching team of Stan Wawrinka. Announced just before Wawrinka was to play Rafael Nadal in the French Open final, Annacone will join the three-time Grand Slam champion during the grass-court swing. That includes Wimbledon, the only Grand Slam tournament Wawrinka has yet to win.

The announcement was made exclusively on Tennis Channel's TC Live:

The full announcement from Wawrinka's team is as follows:

"I would like to take this opportunity to announce as of immediately that we have added Paul Annacone to our existing coaching staff to help during the grass court season for the next four weeks. Paul’s experience speaks for itself having worked with some of the greatest players of all time. His knowledge can only better our understanding of the grass. It's a real privilege and honour to add such a coach to our corner."
