Petra Kvitova says a foot injury has delayed her offseason training, but she plans to return to the tour as scheduled.

The Czech recently began working with Jiri Vanek, the former coach of Karolina Pliskova. The former ATP player is her fourth coach of the year, having stopped working with longtime coach David Kotyza following the Australian Open.

"Unfortunately I have a stress fracture in my right foot and need to wear a brace for two weeks," Kvitova wrote on social media. "I'm still hopeful of being able to start my season in two weeks at Hopman Cup."

Kvitova did not specify whether she experienced the injury while training or off the court.
