âIf had to get married, it would be in my tennis whitesâshorts with no pleats or frills.â âPippa Middleton
That's the lovely sister to the Duchess of Cambridge on what she told her family in the midst of her budding tennis obsession as a young girl. She is not yet a brideâalthough a catch, to be sureâbut what she has become is a guest editor at Vanity Fair for the duration of Wimbledon, which is (gasp) already in its qualifying-round stages. Middleton knows her tennis, which is so refreshing for a celebrity scribe writing for a major publication, and her pieces to date, covering both on- and off-court exploits at the All England Club, can be found here.
Don't miss the best exchange in herQ&A with Roger Federer:
Middleton: "Is it true that the winner of the menâs and womenâs championships have to dance together at the Wimbledon-ball after-party?"
Federer: âUnfortunately not anymoreâI would have had some nice dancing partners over the years and would certainly be a better dancer today.â
Question, all ye Spin readers: What do you look forward to most about Wimbledon?
